Our standard
Spouz is a marriage app for adults. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any form: on our app, in messages, or in anything connected to Spouz.
Adults only
You must be 18 or older to use Spouz.
- The app and our server both refuse a date of birth that makes someone younger than 18.
- A member of our team reviews every profile, including a selfie, before its owner can send interests or messages.
- If we learn that a member is under 18, we remove their account.
What’s prohibited
- Child sexual abuse material of any kind
- Content that sexualises, exploits or endangers anyone under 18
- Grooming, or any attempt to contact, meet or get images of someone under 18
- Using Spouz to arrange a marriage for anyone under 18
- Sharing, asking for or linking to any of the above
How to report a concern
- In the app: open the member’s profile, or your chat with them, open the menu and tap Report and block. Reports are anonymous, and the member is blocked from you permanently.
- By email: write to our child safety contact at spouz.support@gmail.com. Include the member’s name as it appears in the app and what happened.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first.
What we do
When we find, or are told about, child sexual abuse or exploitation, we:
- remove the content and close the accounts involved
- report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant authorities
- cooperate with law enforcement investigations, as the law requires
We deal with child safety reports before any other kind of report.
Following the law
We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us, including the duty to report child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities.
